Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
MBChB, MRCOG, FRCOG
Dr. Al-Dahhan is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist. He holds the MBChB, and a DO in obstetrics from the Royal College of Physicians in Dublin, Ireland. He is a Member and Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London, UK (MRCOG, FRCOG), and holds the Iraqi/Arab Board certification in obstetrics and gynaecology (CABOG).
He has extensive experience in antenatal care, obstetric emergencies, gynaecologic surgery, gynaecological endoscopy, infertility management and women's health services, with expertise in maternal–fetal medicine, high-risk pregnancy and women's reproductive health.
His clinical interests are high-risk pregnancy, maternal–fetal medicine, infertility and assisted reproduction, gynaecologic surgery, and ultrasound in obstetrics and gynaecology.
He is committed to evidence-based practice, medical education and clinical research, and his academic interests include women's health research, medical education, and clinical guidelines. He continues his professional development through national and international scientific meetings, and is a member of the Iraqi Medical Association and of relevant national and international obstetrics and gynaecology societies.
