Tests and treatment, step by step

Diagnosis

We start by checking both partners before any treatment, so we can pinpoint the cause and choose the best option for you.

After your first visit and an ultrasound, we arrange hormone tests and any other tests you both need.

Treatments

Most couples don't need IVF straight away. We choose the simplest treatment that suits the cause, from ovulation induction to IVF and ICSI.

  1. Ovulation induction

Tablets or hormone injections from day two of your cycle. Ultrasound scans and lab tests show when you're ready.

  2. Intrauterine insemination (IUI)

Sperm is prepared and placed in the uterus when you ovulate. It's a quick procedure done in the clinic.

  3. IVF and ICSI

Eggs are collected and fertilised in our embryology lab. Embryos are then transferred on day three or day five, depending on your situation.

  4. Genetic testing of embryos

Embryos are tested in the lab before transfer, to check they are suitable.

  5. Freezing eggs, sperm and embryos

Stored in our embryology lab for future use.

  6. Plasma therapy PRP

Platelet-rich plasma made from your own blood, to support your chances of pregnancy.

  7. Male Infertility

Advanced semen analysis, and sperm retrieval if needed.
